Viviane X Quan is a French born artist whose interdisciplinary background bridges the realms of economics, technology, and contemporary art.
Viviane’s career trajectory has been marked by a synthesis of her interests in art and materiality and shape.
In her artistic practice, Viviane explores the dichotomies within materiality and representation, often engaging with popular culture to address societal issues. Her photographic works delve into the tension between self and environment, employing duality as a method of expression.
Viviane's nuanced perspective is enriched by her internships in prestigious art environments, including a photography studio founded by Royal College of Art alumni and 3D modeling projects at Tsinghua University. She has also worked at Opline Prize International and Art of Change 21, both non-profit organizations that deal with a contemporary art prize in Paris, France.
Her growing portfolio reflects a dedication to not only creating but also critically engaging with various artistic languages and forms.
