Medicine and Mechanics
The art of the toy mechanics is reflected in the object, that was purchased from China. This object, made in China, reflects an industrial quality that has improved since the opening of China to the world, and the fact that China was seen as a world factory up to recently.
The bottle of medicine and the pills scattered on the plate, show that mass production of consumer products is not only prevalent in Western developed countries, but Chinese development is also at this stage. The intellectual development of the industrial production and art is not as mature yet due to some factors, but this is in development.
Chapter of the Artist
The artist tools and the perfume for the vain woman are a show for the life that was given to the Parisians. They were not prepared to the real life and all money was squandered into buying beautiful stuff of artistic value but no real meaning or use.
